"Subho Muhurat” is a murder mystery. A yesteryear actress Kakoli dies after the grand reception of the first shot of a film under mysterious circumstances. At first drug overdose is suspected which later turns out to be poison. The film in question is being produced by NRI yesteryear actress Padmini Chowdhury and directed by her second husband Sambit. A journalist Mili gets involved in the incident. She has an intelligent aunt Ranga pishi. Kalpana, the hairdresser also gets murdered. Ranga pishi solves the case using deductive logic.
